Last Update 3 jaar geleden

There are two types of deposits you can make on your cooperative account.

1. Monthly contribution: This type of deposit is computed in multiples of your monthly savings contribution amount and requires you to only select the number of months you intend paying for. For example, if your savings contribution is N500, and you select 5 months, the amount field will automatically compute the total amount to be paid, in this case N2,500, before redirecting you for payment.

2. General contributions: This type of contribution allows you to enter any amount you intend paying.

Follow the steps below to make a deposit;

1. Log in to your account.

You can check out this tutorial if you want a detailed explanation on logging in to your account.

2. Select transactions from the menu on the left.

3. Click on the transact button, just above the table. This button pops up a menu.

Select deposit from the pop up menu to proceed.

4. On the deposit form, select your account

Note: The default account is savings. If you have subscribed to more more than one cooperative account, select your desired account from the list.

5. Select the deposit type

6. If you select monthly savings, you'll have to indicate the number of months you intend paying for. The amount field is automatically computed so do not try entering an amount

6b. If you select General contributions, enter an amount, then a description of the deposit you are making.

7. Then click on the pay button to be redirected for payment

8. On the payment page enter your card details and click on pay.

Note: You'll also see the name and logo of your cooperative on this payment.

You can select other payment options that do not require a card, like pay with bank, pay with bank transfer, and pay with barter.

9. Next enter your pin and the OTP sent to the mobile number associated with your account

Once this process is complete, you'll be redirected back to your transaction page. On the table, check for the deposit you've made. The status of the transaction will show processing

You can also click on the transaction to view more details.

As soon as the transaction is confirmed, the status of the transaction will changed to successful meaning the payment was successful. If the transaction fails, the deposit status will show failed, and your funds will be returned to your bank account.
